The observation or study of the behavioural patterns of consumers is called the consumer behaviour. In simple terms it is the study of their purchase patterns, behaviours, terms and conditions. The discipline of consumer behaviour covers a lot of ground: It is the analysis of the mechanisms individuals or groups select or choose, consume, utilise, or dispose of products, resources, beliefs, or situations to meet needs and wants.
